Disruptive Behavior Disorders: Disorders in this category include oppositional defiant disorder, conduct disorder, and ADHD. Children with these disorders are often disruptive in structured environments and tend to defy rules.

Mood Disorders: Persistent feelings of sadness or quick changes in mood are usually affiliated with mood disorders. These disorders include bipolar disorder, dysthimic disorders, depression, etc.

Tic Disorders: These disorders cause children to make sudden and repeated movements and sounds, involuntarily, that are often meaningless. These sudden reactions are called tics.
