Military Schools in North Dakota for Troubled Teens

Sending your troubled teen to a full time therapeutic facility can be an intimidating prospect. You want a facility that is both safe and effective. While you may assume that the best option for your teen is a military school in North Dakota, it might not be the best choice. Wehave found that teens attending a program away from the familiarity of their home state actually show greater improvement. There are many reasons for this, including:

·         New surroundings where teens are able to leave behind damaging associations, old triggers and the stigma of a negative reputation while they work on positive changes.

·        Teens and parents are able to take some time apart in a supervised way. Distance can be helpful when the time is maximized by both parties working on better communication skills, but it is nearly impossible to accomplish in the same home.

·         Full time programs provide respite for parents and families while their son is safely and securely supported in an encouraging environment designed to help him get his life back on track.

These are just some of the reasons more parents have relied on the program at Liahona Academy than a military school in North Dakota. Liahona Academy was established in 2001 and its southern Utah location is ideal for boys throughout the country to recover and find a healthy balance. The curriculum consists of daily therapy, academics and physically engaging outdoor activities. Each teen personally works with trained counselors in order to create and maintain a program that is unique to their needs.

This is a short video that will illustrate how the program at Liahona Academy is a better option for troubled boys than a military school in North Dakota. We know that this situation is difficult and unfamiliar and we are here to help you find the best solution.

As you can see, Liahona Academy is devoted to helping troubled boys overcome their individual challenges and gain the skills he needs in order to become a successful individual. Call us today at (800) 675-8101 for a free consultation to determine whether your son can also benefit from our program more than a military school in North Dakota.
